The practice
Suheil Shatara studied architecture at Southern California Institute of Architecture, San Francisco Institute of Urban Studies, and City College of San Francisco. He founded Shatara Architecture in 1989; the firm incorporated in 2002.
For eleven years, he served as an active member of the San Francisco Landmarks Advisory Board, supporting the preservation of the city’s architectural and cultural heritage.
